Fine Bed & Breakfast Accommodations in the heart of Montreal

Sightseeing, activities, things to do in and about our historic Montreal neighborhood

Our neighborhood, St. Henri is currently being revitalized and is a wonderful mix of old and new. We are within an easy walking distance of the historic Lachine canal,  that provides an interesting journey for pleasure crafts, and a pedestrian path, taking you from Old Montreal to the west end of the Island of Montreal.

The Atwater market is unbelievable, it's an easy walk and 2 min drive....a lot of local farmers selling their vegetables, and flowers in the spring and summer.....pumpkins and squash in the fall, Christmas trees, wreaths, swags, etc. in the Winter for Xmas. Fresh bread made daily at the bakery, a cheese shop with cheese from around the world, butchers and fish market with everything, a store with any kind of oil, condiments ...hard to find cooking ingredients that you could possibly be looking for.  We will encourage our guests to go to the market, buy bread and cheese and fruit and sit on the deck in the evenings and relax.

COME EXPLORE MONTREAL
You'll find irresistible charm, fascinating culture, marvelous parks, amazing dining and nightlife, fabulous architecture and delightful outdoor activities at every turn.....what are you waiting for?

Our historic neighbourhood comes alive slowly during the day.  There is a wonderful park approximately a 2 minute walk from the B&B with park benches, a huge lovely fountain. The perfect place to relax in the morning sunshine, or in the evening, maybe chat with the friendly locals and soak up the old world charm.

There is a "cheap and cheerful" neighbourhood Chinese restaurant that people can walk over to, order food from and then sit in the park and have supper/takeout, or our guests can bring it back to the B&B and sit on the deck and eat it there, or in the breakfast room in the winter. There is also a restaurant that offers spicy island food around the corner for takeout.  Curry goat and lamb are part of the menu, home made fruit juices, ginger juice.

We have a "Brocante", which is a "garage sale" type of store, downstairs from us that has an eclectic mix of knick knacks, used and antique furniture, and retro items!

May we recommend......
